Swansea City have slapped a hefty £40million price-tag on in-form striker Wilfried Bony, according to the Daily Star.
The news echoes claims made by made by Garry Monk at the start of December where he said it would take an “astronomical” offer for the Swans to let Bony go.
Reports claim Bony has pleaded with his club to let him fulfill his dream of playing in the Champions League and Manchester City, along with European champions Real Madrid, are heavily linked with the Ivorian.
It is believed Bony wants a four-year £100,000-a-week deal, meaning it could cost as much as £60million to acquire his services.
